Building A Fan Base Using Hub Pages

Using Hub Pages To Build Your Fan Base
I believe that every single entertainer who is looking for more fans should be using Hub Pages to either establish or expand their fan base and their online visibility. I have said that you simply cannot have enough online “presence” when you in the world of entertaining others.
Well, Hub Pages are a great vehicle to establish and promote yourself outside the more “casual” social networks like Facebook and MySpace.
I guess one of the big factors is that you can’t make a dime from Facebook and MySpace pages. But you can with Hub Pages because they have a revenue sharing platform.
For those entertainers who already have a website or blog, Hub Pages can be an additional traffic resource to your existing blog or website.
And you can develop a following—fans, if you will—from your Hub Page activities. If you will look carefully at this Hub Page, you will notice that it is well suited to help you build a fan base.
But here’s probably the best part of all…
There’s no cost involved to have a Hub Page or as many as you want. You will need to sign up for some affiliate programs in order to participate in the revenue sharing aspect of Hub Pages. Again, there’s no cost involved.
There’s no real technical skill required to build your Hub Page. Once you have a Hub Page account, you build your hub pages using capsules. It’s really very easy.
You can also easily embed YouTube videos into your Hub Pages. This is yet another way to expose potential fans to your talent.
Just remember this…
Each Hub Page you build is representative of you. Take care to produce Hub Pages with relevant information, observations and experiences that your fans will want you to talk about. Which brings me to another great feature with Hub Pages…
Folks can request a Hub Page that they would like for you to publish.
I just think that it’s a no brainer that every entertainer—no matter what you field of entertainment may be—should at least look into Hub Pages and how they can extend your reach and help you start building a fan base.

This is one of the most useful hubs that I've read to date. Speaking of adding YouTube, how do you do that? I've asked that question before, with not response.
Hi Steve.
I am getting a lot out of the Killer Stand Up program. I was one of the ventriloquists who worked with you in Pigeon Forge back in January 2008. Regretfully, I was the guy who kept nodding off during your workshop discussion, not because I was bored but because I was exhausted. Long story.
The above about Hub Spaces is great. I will defer using it until I am more confident of my product--entertainment using vent with some stand-up; school programs on character and values; and other venues that fit. I should be ready by fall. I have just started a year's leave of absence from the UMC ordained ministry--which may become retirement as of January. My new vocation will be as I have described above.
Thanks.

Thanks for sharing, Steve. Can you help me with inviting friends to become fans of my hubpage. I saw something once, but can't find it again.
